Weekend on the Water 2026
We are back at the American Legion in 2026!
Join us at the public access boat ramp to the Kentucky River next to the American Legion in Estill County for a family-friendly Weekend on the Water!
Enjoy the river on Saturday, July 25th for TUBEular fun of floating on the river! We will be launching our fun paddle from the same spot for kayaks and standup paddle boards!
We have tubes available for purchase (until inventory runs out), life jackets for rent (limited number available), and Get Outside KY will be on site with Kayak and SUP rentals (first come/first serve). Water access passes are also available if you have your own tube or kayak. (Water Access is required for all participants.)
We will have fun land activities as well, including live music by Them Lasses, vendors, food trucks, games and activities. We hope you'll join us for this weekend of water, fun, and exploring Estill County and the beauty of the Kentucky River!
This is a family-friendly event, but children under 18 are required to have adult supervision and everyone will sign a release waiver.
*Personal Flotation Devices are required!

Weekend on the Water is a fundraiser for the Estill Action Group. All proceeds go toward supporting the Twin City Trail Town program, Estill County's certified designation through the Kentucky Trail Town program, as well as community events that help residents and visitors discover and enjoy beautiful Estill County.
